Abstract

This study aims to determine the obstacles of Pamong Praja police units in controlling traders who use cars on the Cut Nyak Dien road, Pekanbaru City. The type of research used is the qualitative research type method by means of a survey, which prioritizes the list of interviews as a data collection tool. and then used as the main raw material for observing the conditions of the research location. Research located at Cut Nyak Dien, Pekanbaru City There are key informants and informants in this study, namely the Head of pamong praja police unit, members of the pamomg praja police unit, traders, buyers, road users. Three data collection techniques used consisted of primary data which was collected through a list of interviews and results of field research as well as secondary data collected using reports and notes and documents. Based on this observation technique, the researcher assesses and concludes that the implementation of the duties of the Pamong Praja Police unit in curbing the street vendors in Pekanbaru City is tolerable.
