Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explain the effect of economic growth, the unemployment rate, on poverty levels in Riau Province in 2008-2019. This analysis is a type of library research that is quantitative descriptive with multiple linear regression analysis models. The data used are secondary data from 2008 to 2019 taken from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Riau Province and the literature relating to this research. The results showed that Economic Growth had a positive and significant effect on the Poverty Rate in Riau Province in 2008-2019, while the Unemployment Rate had a positive and significant influence on the Poverty Rate in Riau Province in 2008-2019.
