Abstract

This research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution KM 11, Cold Water Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. This research was conducted for 5 months, starting from April to August 2019. This study aims to determine the interaction effect and the main effect of bokashi weed fertilizer and SP-36 fertilizer on the growth and production of curly red chili plants. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) factorial consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is Bokashi fertilizer (B) which consists of 4 levels, namely B0 (without treatment), B1 (bokashi 125 g / plant), B2 (bokashi 150g / plant), and B3 (bokashi 175g / plant). The second factor is SP-36 (S) consisting of 4 levels, namely S0 (without treatment), S1 (SP-36 5g / plant), S2 (SP-36 7.5 g / plant), and S3 (SP-36 10 g / plant). So there are 16 treatment combinations. Observation parameters were plant height, number of primary branches, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, number of residual fruits per plant. The data obtained were analyzed statistically and continued with the BNJ test at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction of Bokashi Weed fertilizer and SP-36 did not significantly affect the parameters of the number of primary branches, flowering age, number of fruit crops, weight of fruit planted, and number of residual fruits per plant. The main effect of Bokashi Weeds was significant on the number of primary branches, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit planted, fruit weight planted, and number of residual fruits. The best treatment was giving bokashi weed at a dose of 175 g / plant (B3). The main effect of SP-36 was significant on parameters of flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit crops, number of residual fruits from planting. The best treatment was given SP-36, namely 10 g / plant (S3).
