Abstract

Squeeze Cementing is the second cementing activity. The background for doing squeeze cementing is to repair primary cement or to close productive zones that are no longer economical. The results of the squeeze cementing application planning by calculating the volume requirement for cement slurry in zone WA-05, the amount of cement slurry used is 14.35 bbl (67 sacks) of class G cement type along with additional additives of 231.73 gallons of fresh water, FR-1L ( dispersant) 20.10 gallons, R-1L (med-temp retarder) 2.01 gallons, FL-1L (fluidloss control liquid ) 53.59 gallons, AMG-1 (Gas Block) 5.36 gallons, and AF-1L (deafoamer) 2.01 gallons. Estimated time required for the thickening time of cement slurry seen from the overall pumping schedule takes 17 hours 25 minutes, while mixing cement slurry and pressing takes 5 hours 43 minutes.
