Abstract
The initial production of crude oil was carried out by natural flow. This is because at the beginning of production, the pressure from the bottom of the reservoir is still very strong. As production progresses, the reservoir pressure of a well will decrease, this can hinder the continuation of production, therefore it is necessary to know the pressure from the well so that there is a solution if there is a problem of decreasing production. In addition, the flow rate from a well also needs to be taken into account in order to know the quality of the well. One way to find out the pressure and flow rate data is to use sonolog test data. Sonolog test data is a method that is often used because of its simple operation and accurate results. In this study, calculations of pressure and flow rate have been carried out using sonolog test data. Sonolog test data obtained from secondary data. In this study, pressure calculations were carried out which included static/reservoir pressure (ps) and well flow pressure (pwf), as well as calculations on flow rates. Calculations were carried out on three wells, namely wells X1, X2, X3. The calculation results of the static pressure obtained from wells X1, X2, X3 are 889.35 psi, 1032.6 psi, and 1153.78 psi. While, the results of the calculation of bottom well pressure in wells X1, X2, and X3 are 770.85 psi, 985.24 psi, and 939.07 psi. The sonological test data showed that the initial flow rate from well X1 was 485 PFPD, well X2 was 257 BFPD, and well X3 was 236 BFPD. Based on the calculation of the maximum flow rate, it is found that the flow rate that can be achieved by well X1 is 2149.36 BFPD, well X2 is 2049.03 BFPD, and well X3 is 768.05 BFPD. From these results, it can be analyzed that these wells have not produced optimally because the initial production flow rate has a difference that is far from the maximum flow rate that can be achieved by these wells.
