Abstract

Implementation of Communication Strategy for Community Empowerment on Clean and Healthy Lifestyle in Perbaun Hilir Village, Kuantan Mudik District Faika Suanki Nafaro 149110113 Clean and healthy living behavior is an effort to provide learning experiences or create conditions for individuals, due to the lack of people understanding how to live clean and healthy. Purpose of Implementing Communication Strategies about clean and healthy living patterns to support the Government and Community of Perbaun Hilir Village, Kuantan Mudik Subdistrict. One of them is the effort that has been made to achieve the Government's goals by implementing clean and healthy lifestyles. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach. Using the Communication Strategy, Advocacy is a strategic action aimed at creating public policies that benefit the community or prevent the emergence of policies that are expected to harm the community. The implementation of the Clean and Healthy Lifestyle Program in the Village of Pebaun Hilir, Kuantan Mudik sub-district is one of the ways carried out in the Clean and Healthy Lifestyle activities for the community and is expected to be active by health workers through counseling about PHBS and direct visits to the community. The plan includes methods, techniques, and procedures for functional relationships between the elements and factors of the communication process for operational activities in order to achieve goals and objectives. In essence is a planning and management to achieve a goal. Every advocacy effort requires a strategy. The stages of the strategy are built based on the stages of analysis that direct, plan and focus efforts on specific objectives. Hygiene behavior has been taught to children in Pebaun Hilir village as early as possible. With the learning of clean and healthy life through direct practice, it is hoped that the community will always maintain personal and environmental hygiene. Hygiene activities that are carried out by health workers in the village health center and assisted by cadres and village officials as well as those from the puskesmas include washing their hands properly, and how to brush their teeth properly and this is held at schools in the downstream village especially. By always maintaining hand hygiene can reduce the prevalence of transmission of an infectious disease.
