Abstract

The increasing human population makes the need for oil and gas resources also increase. In achieving these production targets faced with a number of challenges and problems. One of the recovery methods is waterflooding, this method is done by injecting a certain amount of water under the surface with the aim of increasing production. For this reason, at the BOB Field PT. BSP will conduct waterflood performance analysis using decline curve analysis (DCA), later it can be seen the amount of production obtained at the X Field oil well. The results of the study stated that the Di value (decline rate) for the three production wells, namely wells Z25, Z37, and Z44 respectively 2.98%/year, 2.91%/year, and 3.94%/year using the hyperbolic method. With the low decline rate value, the waterflood performance carried out on the three production wells is good. In addition, in the next few months production from the three wells can continue because it is still economical.
