Abstract

The GR field is an old field that has experienced several obstacles, typical operating constraints of an old field (mature field) , such as sand problems, increased water content, casing , pump damage, and others are starting to occur. Transfer of layers (KUPL) is a program of oil and gas well repair activities by adding or opening a new zone in one of the wells which aims to maintain or increase production so that production targets can be achieved and increase recovery factors. This study aims to determine the increase in production flow rate and recovery factor wells x and y. The method used in this study is reservoir simulation using software with production rate optimization scenarios. The addition of perforation intervals on the A'sd layer (scenario A) can provide excellent well production synergies with an increase in oil production of well X reaching 0.451 MMSTBO, well Y 0.381 MMSTBO and the obtained RF increase reached 9.18%. The new perforation interval in the B'sd layer can result in a cumulative increase in oil in well X 0.444 MMSTBO, well Y 0.376 MMSTBO with an increase in RF in well X by 9.05%, well Y by 9.23%. And the perforation intervals in layers A'sd and B'sd simultaneously can result in a cumulative increase in oil in well X of 0.443 MMSTBO, well Y of 0.375 MMSTBO with an increase in RF of well X 9.03% and well Y 9.20%.
