Abstract

This research was conducted in the Zamrud field, Riau, Indonesia which is managed by PT. Bumi Siak Pusako – Pertamina Hulu This field has entered the secondary recovery stage since 1993 until now. However, the waterflooding has not produced maximum results. During the waterflood project, production wells gave various responses, in general, some gave positive and negative responses (oil gain/loss). Associated with the variation of response that occurs in production wells cannot be separated from the characteristics of the reservoir and wells are different. Therefore, monitoring activities are carried out to monitor problems that occur based on the performance of production wells (oil loss). In this study, the main reservoir is targeted at the 2830' sand and 2900' sand layers which consist of 6 production wells and 2 injection wells. The purpose of this study is to find out what problems are happening in injection wells and production wells with diagnostic plots, then to determine the effect of the injection rate on permeability variations in the hope of preventing distribution, especially in the completion of multizonal wells. Based on the results obtained by comparing the injection and production rates, the average VRR is equal to 1 with various production well responses, there are 2 production wells with high productivity (high oil, high water), 3 wells low productivity (low oil, low water). and 1 well high oil low water. If we look at the WOR and WOR, there are 5 wells diagnosed as having coning with late time channeling and one multi-layer channeling well. The origin of production in the Marpoyan Damai field during the water flooding project was 8964.4 MSTBO, the remaining 230.4 MSTBO, it can be obtained EUR of 9194.8 MSTBO and on average production will stop producing to the economic limit (Qel = 5 BOPD) over the next 5.6 years.
