Abstract

This study focuses on evaluating reservoirs with water injection in the CF field to see how effective the area sweeping is. The CF field is located in Riau, which started production in 1983. So it experienced a decrease in pressure and waterflood was carried out in 1994. The waterflood chosen was an irregular pattern, where the injection well position did not have a regular pattern. because it depends on injection wells whose reservoir is marginal. The evaluation in this study was carried out by researchers using the Craig Geffen Morse method and a combination of the CMG IMEX 2015 10 Simulator method, to predict injection time, production rate, amount of injection water and recovery factor after injection as well as the remaining reserves that are still left after injection. The Craig Gaffen Morse method is the most practical and effective calculation method for predicting 5-spot (Five Spot) performance. However, researchers tried to do research on irregular patterns (7 producers and 2 injectors). Several stages of this research are collecting secondary data obtained in the field, then proceed with the calculation of the Craig Geffen Morse method and finally the reservoir model making on the CMG IMEX 2015 10 simulator. So the evaluation results obtained in this pattern are the Recovery Factor value of 43% and the NP of 2.01 mmbbl.
