Abstract

This research is entitled "Analysis of the Use of Dysphemism in the News Politics of the Pekanbaru Tribune Newspaper "dysfemism is an attempt to replace words with subtle meanings or ordinary ones with yang words the meaning is harsh. In the study of semantics the type of change in the meaning of dysphemism these are words, phrases, clauses and sentences. Researcher's problems are: (1) How a form of the use of word dysphemism in the political news of the tribune newspaper Pekanbaru? (2) How to use phrase dysphemism in the news the politics of the Pekanbaru Tribune newspaper ?. This research aims to describe the use of word and phrase dysphemicem in Political News Letters Kabar Tribun Pekanbaru Edition 01 to November 30, 2020. The theory used in this study are Abdul Chaer (2013) and Muslich in Fatmawati (2019). Sources of data in this study are Political News Edition 01 s / d 30 November 2019 and all the information contained in the Tribune Newspaper Pekanbaru which deals with the use of the word Dysphemism form Phrase. The method that researchers use is descriptive with this type of research namely library studies and the research approach is qualitative. To Collecting author data using documentation and heremeneutic techniques. The results of this study indicate that (1) Analysis of the use of word dysphemism There are twenty three (23) data on word dysphemism. (2) ten (10) data phrase dysphemism. In conclusion, the form of use of word and phrase dysphemism in the Pekanbaru Tribune newspaper, there are thirty-three (33) data Dysphemism. Key words: Political news and dissemism
