Abstract

Contribution of Arm Muscle Strength and Eye and Hand Coordination to Lower Service in Volleyball Games in Extracurricular Students in SMA Negeri 10 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research was to determine the contribution of arm muscle strength and eye and hand coordination to lower service in volleyball games for extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 10 Pekanbaru. This type of research is a multiple correlation. The population and sample in this research were 12 extracurricular high school students in Pekanbaru. The research instruments used were arm muscle strength tests with push ups, eye and hand coordination tests and volleyball service ability tests. The data analysis technique used is the multiple correlation test. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that 1) There is a contribution of arm muscle strength to lower service in volleyball game extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 10 Pekanbaru by 39.56%, 2) There is a contribution of eye and hand coordination to lower service in volleyball extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 10 Pekanbaru by 48.44%, 3) There was a contribution of arm muscle strength and eye and hand coordination to lower service in volleyball game extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 10 Pekanbaru by 68.39%.
