Abstract

Everyone has experienced feelings of anxiety. Including graduates universities who are anxious when facing the world of work. Find a job it is not easy, this is due to the lack of employment opportunities whereas there are more job seekers. Scholars who even graduated become unemployed due to the large number of university graduates, because of individuals do not want to carry out a job equivalent to SMA or SMK. Anxiety about the future usually arises due to a major factor, namely the world work. Anxiety facing the world of work should be reduced, so that someone able to face the world of work and get a job in accordance with that they want. This study aims to determine the relationship between adversity quotient with anxiety facing the world of work in college graduates 21-24 years old, with a sample of 200 people. Technique data collection using a scale totaling 31 items to scale adversity quotient and 31 items for the anxiety scale. The results of this study using Pearson product moment analysis with the correlation coefficient r 0.749 with a significant p of 0.000 (p <0.005), it can be concluded that there is the relationship between adversity quotient and anxiety facing the world of work on college graduate. In that sense the hypothesis in this study is accepted
