Abstract

Research with the title "Influence Banana stem compost and Grand K Fertilizer on Growth and Yield Honey Pumpkin Plant (Cucurbita moschata) �. Research has been ongoing for 4 months starting from August to December 2018 in the garden experiment of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University. Research objectives for to know the main and interaction effect of banana stem compost and grand fertilizer K on the growth and yield of honey pumpkin plants. The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 2 factors where Banana Stem Compost is the first factor which consists of 4 levels namely 0, 0.5, 1, 1.5 kg / plot and Grand K Fertilizer is the second factor as well consists of 4 levels of treatment, namely 0, 10, 20, 30 g / plot, resulting in 16 treatment combination. The parameters observed were flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit per crop, weight of fruit per crop, weight of fruit per fruit. Data the last observation was analyzed statistically and followed by further testing BNJ at the 5% level. The results showed that the compost stem interaction Banana and Grand K Fertilizer had significant effect on flowering age and fruit weight cropping, fruit weight per fruit. The best treatment is the compost dosage combination banana stalks 1.5 kg / plot and Grand K fertilizer 30 g / plot. The main effect of compost Banana stalks had a significant effect on flowering age, harvesting age, and fruit weight cropping, fruit weight per fruit. The best treatment is stem compost dosage bananas 1.5 kg / plot (P3). The main effect of grand K fertilizer is significant on flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit planted, fruit weight cropping and fruit weight per fruit. The best treatment is the grand fertilizer dosage K 30 g / plot (K3).
