Abstract

THE EFFECT OF SHARIA BANKING SECTOR ON FINANCIAL DEEPENING IN INDONESIA By: Lili Lismawati NPM: 155210332 ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of the Islamic banking sector on Financial Deepening in Indonesia. the population in this study was 13 Sharia Commercial Banks (BUS) and 9 Sharia Commercial Banks (BUS) samples with a sampling technique using purposive sampling. The data used in this study is secondary data with a quantitative approach from Islamic bank financial statements in Indonesia in 2014-2018. The variables used in this Islamic banking deposit are Third Party Funds and Financing. The results of this study indicate that Third Party Funds and Financing have a significant and positive effect on Financial Deepening in Indonesia in 2014-2018.
