Abstract

Community-based community empowerment programs start from providing training to the community. There are still many training activities that have not been realized in the implementation of community empowerment programs based on community harmony. Apart from the many training activities that have not been realized and implemented, the activities that have been running have not been maximized as expected. Then there is a problem that occurs in the implementation of community-based community empowerment programs, namely the limited budget. This has not been able to improve the welfare of the community in the economic sector which is the goal of implementing community-based community empowerment programs in Rejosari Village, Pekanbaru City. With this training, it can increase the knowledge and skills of the community which become an asset for the community to improve their standard of living for the better. This research was conducted using qualitative descriptive research methods and accidental sampling methods of the Head of Rejosari Village, Rejosari Village Community Unit, Pekanbaru City, Village Facilitators and the community as informants in the research and is part of the implementation of community-based community programs to become the object of this research. Based on the research that has been carried out and based on the theory and concept of community empowerment, the implementation of community-based community empowerment programs has been implemented in Rejosari Village, Pekanbaru City, although it has not been able to improve the economy and society, but for people who participate in the implementation of training activities, they gain experience knowledge from the training. The existence of village assistants has benefits for the implementation of community empowerment programs based on community groups in terms of planning and monitoring of activities carried out. Inhibiting factors that affect the implementation of community-based community empowerment programs in Rejosari Village are limited funds, insufficient number of staff in several neighborhood associations, no support from the surrounding private sector, training venues, and limited training tools. activities are still carried out for the community who participate in the training.
