Abstract

EVALUATION OF THE SMART INDONESIAN CARD DISTRIBUTION PROGRAM IN THE BUSINESS OF IMPROVING LESS COMMUNITY EDUCATION IN BUKIT RAYA SUB-DISTRICT, PEKANBARU CITY ABSTRACT By: Adina Saputri 167310103 Keywords: Evaluation, Smart Indonesia Card, Education Office, Junior High School. This study aims to determine the evaluation of the Smart Indonesia Card Distribution Program in an Effort to Improve the Education of the Poor in the Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City in the distribution of government education which makes educational programs namely the Smart Indonesia Program (PIP) which is distributed through the Smart Indonesia Card (KIP). Which aims to ensure that children aged 6-12 years get education services until graduation to reduce children dropping out of school and to help underprivileged students at school, both at the primary and secondary levels. In reducing the cost of education by channeling funds directly to students through banks. The type of research used is descriptive using qualitative methods with data collection techniques done by observation, interview and documentation techniques. As for the research subjects, there is one key informant and eleven informants. From the results of the research evaluation of the Smart Indonesia Card Distribution Program in an Effort to Improve the Education of the Underprivileged Community in Bukit Raya Subdistrict, Pekanbaru City, seen from 6 indicators according to William N Dunn, namely the effectiveness and efficiency of implementing this program has not met the target because there are still students who should not be able to get it. KIP assistance funds. Adequacy and evenness indicators are not all students who get KIP so that the school makes several efforts to make leveling efforts such as proposing the names of underprivileged students to the dapodik, then indicators of the responsiveness and accuracy of KIP are considered very helpful for students who are less fortunate and it is hoped that in the future it will be even better programs created by the central government. Suggestions for KIP to do socialization to students so that in the future KIP distribution is better.
