Abstract

THE INFLUENCE OF TEACHERS’ PEDAGOGIC COMPETENCIES ON STUDENTS’ CREATIVITIES IN LEARNING AKIDAH AKHLAK AT MADRASAH ALIYAH MIFTAHUL HIDAYAH PEKANBARU ADE SUSANTO 162410084 This study is motivated by the problems of learning creativity that occurs among students in learning Akidah Akhlak lessons at Madrasah Aliyah Miftahul Hidayah Pekanbaru. Among the problems that exist in students are: the curiosity of the students is still low, there are still many students who are lazy to ask questions, there are still many students who are less creative in asking questions, and there are still many students who are less prominent in the learning. This study aims to investigate the influence of teachers’ pedagogical competencies on students’ creativities in learning Akidah Akhlak at Madrasah Aliyah Miftahul Hidayah Pekanbaru. The type of this study is quantitative with a correlation approach. The population of this study is all students in class XI and XII totaling 154, while the sample is 110. But after distributing 110 questionnaires to the respondents, only 83 questionnaires were returned. The sampling technique is taken according to the Slovin formula. The data collection teachniques used are questionnaires and documentation. From the results of the analysis of the hypothesis test with a significant value, namely p = 0.038 < 0.05, it can be interpreted that there is an influence of teachers’ pedagogical competencies on students’ creativities in learning Akidah Akhlak at Madrasah Aliyah Miftahul Hidayah Pekanbaru. The amount of influence can be seen in the summary table with an R-Square value of 0.739 or 73,9%, it means that the teachers’ pedagogical competencies have an influence on the students’ learning creativities by 73,9% or the influence is “strong�.
