Abstract

1963/5000 ABSTRACT Poso Alam Nauli Hasibuan (144110362) research with the title "The Effect of NPK 16: 16: 16 Fertilizer and Hormone Growth Substances on the growth and production of Celery (Apium graveolens L.)". The research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution KM 11 No. 113 Marpoyan stop, Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru. This research was conducted for 3 months from June to August 2019. The objectives of this study were: to determine the interaction effect and the main effect of giving NPK 16:16:16 and hormonal ZPT on celery yields. The design used in the study was a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of two factors. The first factor is the dose of NPK 16:16:16 (N) which consists of 4 levels of treatment. The second factor is the concentration of ZPT Hormone (Z) which consists of 4 treatment levels. From these two treatments, 16 treatment combinations were obtained, each treatment combination was repeated 3 times so that there were 48 experimental units, each experimental unit consisting of 4 plants, 2 of which were used as sample plants so that the number of plants was 192 plants. If if F count is greater than F table, then the BNJ further test is carried out at the 5% level. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it is concluded as follows: The interaction of NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer and Hormone ZPT was significant on plant height, number of leaf midribs, wet weight, dry weight, root volume and harvest index. The best treatment was NPK fertilizer dosage 16:16:16 1.8 g / plant and ZPT Hormone concentration 3 cc / l water. The main effect of NPK 16:16:16 dosage was significant on all observed parameters. The best treatment is fertilizer dosage NPM 16:16:16 1.8 g / plant. The main effect of Hormone ZPT concentration was significant on all observed parameters. The best treatment is 3 cc / l of water.
