Abstract

This study is motivated by the increase and development of Islamic hotels and the number of similar companies, which will be a challenge for the companies to have a good strategy so that the companies can survive. Therefore, hotel management must be able to create innovations in terms of Islamic service quality to attract guests to stay and provide good service. The problem formulation of this study is whether the Islamic service quality influences the guest decision to stay in the D'lira Syariah Hotel Pekanbaru. The study aims to investigate the influence of Islamic service quality on guest decision to stay in the D'Lira Syariah Hotel Pekanbaru. The model used in this study is a causality model or influence relations. The method of this study is a quantitative method. The subject of this study is the guests who stay in the D'lira Syariah Hotel Pekanbaru, while the object is the Islamic service quality. The population of this study consists of 632 people, while the sample consists of 86 people. The data sources used are primary data and secondary data. The sampling technique used is random sampling, while the data collection technique used is questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis performed by SPSS for window 23.0. The partial test results show that there is a significant influence of Islamic service quality on guest decision to stay in the D'lira Syariah Hotel Pekanbaru. It is known that tcount (9.389) is greater than ttable (1.663). It means that partially it can be seen that the variable X (Islamic service quality) influences the variable Y (guest decision to stay). While the results of this study found that the value of correlation coefficient is 0.716 which is included in the category of a strong relationship. In conclusion, the influence of Islamic service quality on guest decision to stay in the D'lira Syariah Hotel Pekanbaru is strong.
