Abstract

The financing facility or Home Ownership Credit is one of the BTN facilities for the Hangtuah sub-branch office, Pekanbaru City. With the financing facility, the bank will benefit by way of profit sharing. The bank provides loan funds to the customer and then the customer returns the loan in monthly installments with a predetermined period of time. However, in practice, it is found that customers do not carry out their obligations with an agreement that has been mutually agreed upon when the agreement has been made. Bad financing is one of the major impacts in the world of financial institutions, including one in Islamic banking institutions. Therefore, the banking sector must develop an appropriate and correct way to resolve non-performing financing when it occurs. In conducting this research, the authors formulate the main problems including how to implement the Home Ownership Credit (KPR) agreement between the debtor and BTN KCP Hangtuah Pekanbaru City and how to resolve if there is a default in the Home Ownership Credit (KPR) agreement between the debtor and BTN KCP Hangtuah City Pekanbaru. The research method that the author uses in this study is Observational Research by means of a survey, namely research is carried out directly to the research location in order to obtain information and data related to this research by conducting interviews as a tool to collect data. The nature of this research is descriptive, namely the author provides an overview of the research between debtors and BTN KCP Hangtuah Pekanbaru City. Based on the results of research on the Implementation of Home Ownership Loans (KPR) between debtors and PT. BTN KCP Hangtuah Pekanbaru City sometimes creates obstacles in the agreed credit agreement, which has not been implemented properly by the debtor, it can be seen from the debtor not meeting the terms and conditions that apply to apply for mortgage financing that has been set by Bank BTN Pekanbaru City. And the cause of the debtor defaulting is usually due to economic factors and house building factors that are not in accordance with the wishes of the debtor.
