Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of speed and agility to the extracurricular football dribbling abilities of Kubu Babussalam 1 Public High School, Rokan Hilir District. This type of research is multiple correlation. The variable X1 is speed, variable X2 is agility and variable Y is the ability of football dribble. The 18 extracurricular students of SMA Negeri 1 Kubu Babussalam, Rokan Hilir District, which numbered 18 people, the sampling technique was total sampling so the number of samples was 18 people as well. The research instrument is a 100 yard sprint run, dogging run and soccer dribble test. The results of this study are: 1) There is a contribution of speed with dribble skills in the game of extracurricular students of Babussalam 1 Public High School of 31.8%. 2) There is a contribution of agility with dribble ability in the game of extracurricular students of Babussalam Kubu 1 High School of 33.4%. 3) There is a contribution of speed and agility to dribble abilities in the game of extracurricular students of Kubu Babussalam 1 Public High School in Rokan Hilir Regency by 41.8%.
