Abstract

OPTIMIZATION SLUG SURFACTANT-POLYMER, INJECTION RATE & PATTERN SIZE DETERMINATION USING CMG SIMULATOR IN MJ WELL MELDA JUWITA PANGGABEAN NPM 133210569 ABSTRACK MJ`s field is one of field that located at old field in central Sumatra, this field was producing oil on 1952 with amount reserve 4.6 MMSTB by that reason the EOR study needed in order to increase oil production. Based on EOR screening analysis, MJ`s well fit by surfactant polymer flood. Surfactant was reduced IFT and as dispacment, then polymer can reducued the mobility by increase the water formation`s viscosity and as sweep efficiency. Before surfaktan-polymer injected on well, we need to controlling the sensitivity. using reservoir simulation. On order to got the optimal method to applied on mj`s well, some scenario simulation was used sensitivity such as SP Slug, Injection rate and pattern size. Surfactant-polymer injecting by implementation water flood on a year and next step Injecting surfactant-polymer flood with some slug variation were 0,2 pv, 0,3 pv, 0,4 pv, 0,5 pv and 0,6 pv on some injection rate such as 1600 bpd, 2300 bpd and 3000 bpd and some variation kind of pattern such as 5 spot pattern, 7 spot pattern and 9 spot pattern. Based on simulation that have done, it got optimal result on 0,6 pv , 3000 bpd and 5 spot pattern with oil cumulative is 2.023.700 bbl and recovery factor is 81,67%.
