Abstract
Riau is one of the provinces that has excellent tourism potential. With a fairly large area, it is undeniable that Riau Province has a variety of natural and cultural beauties that can be developed in the form of tourism, one of which is the Kampung Patin Tourism Village located in the district. XIII Koto Kampar Kab. Kampar Riau Province. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the marketing communication strategy (POSE) carried out by the Riau Province Tourism Office in increasing tourist visits in the Kampung Patin Tourism Village. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach by conducting observations, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the Riau Province Tourism Office in increasing tourist visits in the Kampung Patin Tourism Village had used the (POSE) strategy. This implementation can be seen from the use of outdoor media as well as electronic media and social media such as Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, websites and applications. As well as endorser activities, namely collaborating with influencers or content creators in promoting the Kampung Patin tourist village.
