Abstract
ABSTRAC EFFECT OF COMMUNICATION ON EMPLOYEE EFFECTIVENESS IN. ADEI PLANTATION AND INDUSTRIES IN KABUPATEN PELALAWAN The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of communication on the work effectiveness of employees at PT. Adei Plantation and Industry in Pelalawan Regency. The formulation of the research problem is whether communication has a significant effect on the work effectiveness of employees at PT. Adei Plantation and Industry in Pelalawan Regency? The study population was all company employees, amounting to 81 people, while the sample was determined by census, that is, taking all members of the population as a sample. The data collection techniques are questionnaire, interview and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used descriptive method by applying simple linear regression statistical analysis. The results of this study concluded that the communication that took place at PT. Adei Plantation and Industry in Pelalawan Regency with good category, and company employees achieve high work effectiveness. Communication has a positive and strong enough effect on employee work effectiveness, which can be seen from the correlation coefficient (r) obtained which is equal to 0.780. The contribution of the Communication variable to changes in the Work Effectiveness of employees at the company is 0.608 or 60.8%. Meanwhile, the influence of other variables on the work effectiveness of employees is 0.626 or 62.6%. The leadership of the company should always strive to foster and develop effective communication within the company, and employees should always strive to establish good communication between colleagues and with superiors / leaders in the company.
