Abstract

Motuyoko Park is currently a new entertainment facility for the Tualang community because many people in Tualang District work in the fields of industry and trade and services so that people need recreational facilities that can release their tiredness in activities and this park is also visited by many students and the elderly. This park has a number of public facilities in the form of sports/fitness equipment, seats, toilets, children's slides, and there is a magnificent main stage. In this research using mixed analysis methods (quantitative-qualitative), including through a Likert scale questionnaire to measure public opinion about the park from the existence of the facilities owned, and using a free (open-ended) interview method in the form of general questions asked to several samples to obtain information. community response to Motuyoko Park, Tualang District. Motuyoko Park has an area of 1.1 hectares with an active garden area of 0.75 hectares and 0.35 hectares of vegetation in the form of shrubs. The minimum area of green open space is that Motuyoko Park has an area percentage of 68% and belongs to the type of sub-district park because it has complete facilities and vegetation according to the Minister of Public Works Regulation No. 05 of 2008. Public perception of the existence of park vegetation in Motuyoko Park is at a good level with an average value (mean) of 4.060; public perception of the physical condition of park vegetation in Motuyoko Park is at a good level with an average value (mean) of 4.230; and community perceptions of the function of garden vegetation in Motuyoko Park are at a good level with an average value (mean) of 4,170. public perception of the existence of park facilities in Motuyoko Park is at a good level with an average value (mean) of 4,100; public perception of the physical condition of park facilities in Motuyoko Park is at a good level with an average value (mean) of 4.180; and public perception of the function of parks in Motuyoko Park is at a good level with an average value (mean) of 4,070
