Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the differences in the income conditions of the people along the Sumatran highway, starting from the Pekanbaru Toll Gate in Muara Fajar Village, Rumbai District to Minas Toll Gate in Minas District before and after the construction and operation of the Pekanbaru - Minas toll road. This research was conducted in Minas Jaya Village and Muara Fajar Village. The results showed that descriptively there was a difference in people's income before and after the existence of the toll road, but after an in-depth analysis using the Paired T-test method it was found that there was no significant difference in income between before and after the Pekanbaru-Minas toll road.
