Abstract

This research problem focused on there was any influence of inquiry method on students’ learning achievement in aqidah akhlak lesson at Islamic vocational high school Adzqia Belimbing village Indragiri Hulu regency. This research used correlation quantitative. The purpose in this research examined to know the influence of inquiry method on students’ learning achievement in aqidah akhlak lesson at Islamic vocational high school Adzqia Belimbing village Rokan Hulu regency. The subject in this research was class XI students at Islamic vocational high school Adzqia Belimbing village Indragiri Hulu Regency. And the object was inquiry method on students’ learning achievement in aqidah akhlak at Islamic vocational high school Belimbing village Rokan Hulu regency. The population in this research was class XI students in 54 students. This research consisted of two variables that was inquiry method (variable X) adna cognitive learning achievement (variable Y). Data collection technique used test, questionnaire, and documentation. This research finding showed that there was any influence of inquiry method on students’ learning achievement in aqidah akhlak lesson at Islamic vocational high school Adzqia Belimbing village Indragiri Hulu regency. It was known by the result of simple linear regression analysis with significant score smaller than 0.05 where 0.001 < 0.05 and the hypothesis was accepted. The influence of inquiry method on stduents’ cognitive learning achievement was in 0.179 or 17.9% in very low category because it was in range 0.00-0.199. it was suitable in correlation coefficient interpretation table, meanwhile the others 82.1% was influenced by others factors. It meant that the hypothesis was accepted, and the degree of relationship between inquiry methods on students’ learning achievement in aqidah akhlak lesson at Islamic vocational high school Adzqia belimbing village Indragiri Hulu regency was in very low category.
