Abstract

Public services can be categorized as effective if the community gets the convenience of services with short, fast, precise and satisfying procedures. Good service to the community must be supported by employees who are reliable, competent, able to understand and able to carry out their main duties and functions in accordance with the areas of responsibility assigned to them. People certainly want to get good quality service from the government. For Integrated District Administration Services in Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City, it is managed by 8 people, who are expected to provide good service to the community. But after the researchers made observations in the field, there were several problems encountered in the service section and also at the Marpoyan Damai District Office. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of District Integrated Administrative Services in obtaining building permits at the Marpoyan Damai Sub-district Office of Pekanbaru City and to determine the inhibiting factors in its implementation. The research method used is a qualitative method with data collection through interviews, observations and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the application of the District Integrated Administration Service in the Management of Building Permits at the Marpoyan Damai Sub-District Office of Pekanbaru City has not been optimally carried out. This can be seen from the community that has not evenly received the clarity of information submitted by the Camat Office related to the implementation of the District Integrated Administrative Service which will help facilitate the community in carrying out services in Marpoyan Damai District. The inhibiting factors for the Implementation of Integrated Administrative Services in the District of Marpoyan Damai, Pekanbaru City, among others, are the inhibiting factors, namely the lack of personnel resources who have expertise in the field of information technology in computers and the limited office infrastructure such as a shortage of photocopiers and computers.
