Abstract

Sorek Satu Village, Pangkalan Kuras District, is a production center for the ago-industrial business in Pelalawan Regency. In this condition, entrepreneurs should be able to increase the production and productivity of soybean agroindustry to obtain maximum profit. This study aims: (1) Characteristics of business actors and business profiles of soybean agroindustry (2) Allocation of resources owned by soybean agroindustry entrepreneurs (3) Changes in resources and objective function coefficients to optimal conditions This research was carried out in Sorek Satu Village, Pangkalan Kuras District. Pelalawan Regency from January 2021 to July 2022. The method used in this research is a case study method. The data were analyzed by statistical descriptive and linear programming. The results showed that soybean agro-industry entrepreneurs were of productive age with entrepreneur age of 34 years, education was still low with 9 years of education, had experience in business with 12 years of experience, processing using semi-modern technology. Soybean agro-industry has a requirement of using 48.57 kg of soybean raw materials for large tofu, 48.57 kg for small tofu, 14.28 kg for large tempeh, 14.28 kg for small tempe, with a workforce of 4 HOK for tofu and 4 HOK for tempeh, then the average machine working hours is 8 hours for tofu and 0 hours for tempeh. Soybean agro-industry entrepreneurs will get a profit of Rp 1,293,224/week. If they produce at the optimal level, namely 0 kg for large tofu, 145.72 kg for small tofu, 0 for large tempe and 95.2 kg for small tempe. The sensitivity analysis of the objective function coefficient shows that big tofu has a lower limit of -infinity and an upper limit of 3663.7. Then for small tofu products it has a lower limit value of 9417.13 and an upper limit value of 3104.92. Furthermore, for large tempe products, the lower limit value is -infinity and the upper limit value is 2825.33. And for small tempe products, the lower limit value is 2747.89 and the upper limit value is 9346.29.
