Abstract

Recropper with an agreement that the results will be divided between the two parties according to a mutual agreement, while the costs and seeds are from the sharecropper. The aim of this study is to investigate how the implementation of the Mukhabarah contract on oil palm plantation between the land owners and the Sungai Sepuh Cooperative in Muara Lembu Village, Singingi District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The type of this study is descriptive qualitative research with the data are obtained from 2 informants. The data collection techniques of this study are observation, interviews and documentation and the data sources consists of primary data and secondary data. The results of this study show that the collaboration between the land owners and the Sungai Sepuh plantation cooperative in Muara Lembu Village, Singingi District, Kuantan Singingi Regency in the implementation of the Mukhabarah contract on oil palm plantation based on the concept of Islamic economics can be categorized as a legitimate cooperation because it contains the principles of muamalah, such as: mutual consent and the custom and habits are not against the Al-Qur'an and Hadith.
