Abstract

This research was motivated by the Covid-19 pandemic that hit almost all parts of the world. This pandemic paralyzes the joints of various aspects of life, one of which is education. With the Covid-19 pandemic, an online learning process was carried out. The online learning process itself is very rare or even never carried out, especially in the regions. The impact of online learning also affects students self-concept in online lectures. How the student describes himself and his relationship with others in his environment during online lectures. Therefore, this study discusses how students self-concept in online lectures. This research uses aspects of self-concept, namely physical aspects, psychic aspects, and social aspects as a reference in the interview process. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method with a phenomenological approach. The results of this study that have been found are based on 3 aspects of self-concept. It is related to the physical aspect that during online lectures experience some changes physically and experience health problems. Some informants also tend to be more passive in online lectures, in addition to that with online lectures informants have feelings of pleasure and sadness. The environmental conditions around them are very supportive to carry out online lectures comfortably, it's just that there are obstacles to the unstable internet network. For communication some informants tend to state that the communication of his friend has little effect on his self-concept.
