Abstract

ABSTRACT Dumai Port consists of Dock A, B, and C. At Dock B, long queues often occure due to the duration of the loading and unloading activities. The purpose of this research is to know service level of the dock, changes in the service quality, and recommendations to optimize the service level of Dumai Port in the next 10 years. The research was conducted by collecting, analyzing, and evaluating secondary data, which is the port operational performance data for the last 4 years (2016-2019). The Data is used in calculations related to performance service, performance service standard, and the service level of the dock. The analysis was performed using linear regression method. Analysis result of performance service 10 years ahead for Dock A and C is not good on ship service performance and loading and unloading service performance, at Dock B the performance of utility services facilities worked poorly. Based on the above results it is concluded that the service level of Dock A, B, and C is not good, for Dock A due to the value of ET: BT is 38.125% works under 70% and CC is 95.55 T/J works under 100 T/J, the value of BOR Dock B is 97.845% works far above 70%, and for Dock C ET: BT 62.12% works under 70% and CK 118,645 works under 150 T/J. For service levels in 2019 and 2029 there are changes in service quality namely in The performance of dock A loading and unloading services and in the service performance of the Pier B facility. The recommendation to optimize the performance service of Dock A and C can be done with TKBM and heavy equipment additions, while for Dock B requires an additional tength of 2324.44 meters.
