Abstract
The layout design is one of the most influential factors on the performance of an organization. This is due to an unfavorable layout that will lead to poor material flow and relatively high displacement, product, information, equipment and labor which causes delays in product completion and increases production costs. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effectiveness of the layout applied to the oil palm mill of PT Rohul Sawit Industri, Suka Damai Village, Rokan Hulu Regency. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and using the Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) model with the AutoCAD application.
