Abstract

Homosexuals or often said to be gay and lesbi are increasingly brave to express their existence or existence in society, this is indicated by the information that develops in the mass media and the development of community groups in expressing their aspirations and actualization of themselves in social media networks that exist today. . Thus the purpose of this study was to determine in order to motive and because motive in Rokan IV Koto Village. The phenomenology introduced by Alfred is experience and cause, because of an action that is done for a certain reason. This study used a qualitative research method with gay or lesbi informants who were considered appropriate in terms of age and experience according to what the author needed. Data by type and source are primary data and secondary data with data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. This study used triangulation data validity techniques to analyze the data qualitatively and draw conclusions. The results of the study can be concluded that lesbian and gay identities do not appear and are simply accepted by an individual. This identity emerges through the stages of development of a homosexual identity. All informants have different stages, so that lesbian and gay behavior is formed. Where from in order to motive (goal) is based on the existence of satisfaction, pleasure, happiness, and fear of loss. Meanwhile, because of the motive (cause) because of the happiness to be achieved, economic and social factors, the experience (time) from childhood has been worn with other types of clothes from parents. The forms of sexual behavior carried out by lesbians and gays are relatively the same, such as holding hands, holding hands, hugging, and so on. The form of behavior that becomes a difference is when they have sexual intercourse in the private sphere, this is because lesbians and gays have different genitals.
