Abstract

ABSTRACT Salmaulana, Npm. 166610214, 2020, An effort to Improve the Oesults of the Bolavolly lower Service Through the Demonstration Method for class VIII-2 Students of SMPN 4 Pekanbaru. Physical Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Islamic University of Riau. The purpose of this study was to find out how much improvement in the demonstration method of bolavolly lower service in class VIII-2 students of SMPN 4 Pekanbaru. This research was conducted at SMPN 4 Pekanbaru. The variables used are bolavolly bottom service and demonstration methods. The research subjects used were 34 students of class VIII-2 SMPN 4 Pekanbaru. The research instrument is to use the performance rubric of bolavolly bottom service. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics. The results showed that the improvement of basic service techniques under bolavolly for students of class VIII-2 SMPN 4 Pekanbaru was categorized as good. The results obtained for the basic technique of bolavolly lower service in class VIII-2 of SMPN 4 Pekanbaru in the first cycle were 61.76% who were "complete" in the second cycle, an increase was 85.29% "complete".
