Abstract

ABSTRACT THE EFFECTIVENESS OF PRODUCTIVE ZAKAT DISTRIBUTION IN IMPROVING MUSTAHIK PROSPERITY IN NATIONAL AMIL ZAKAT AGENCY AT INDRAGIRI HILIR DISTRICT BY NURLAILATUL ZUHRA 162310195 National Amil Zakat Agency at Indragiri Hilir District was prioritized productive zakat to solve social poverty. It was compatible with direction from general director of Islamic community guidance of Religious Ministry of Republic Indonesia where the purpose in managing zakat to solve poverty by productive zakat. Research Problem was how the effectiveness of productive zakat distribution in improving mustahik prosperity in National Amil Zakat Agency at Indragiri Hilir District. The purpose in this research was to know the effectiveness of productive zakat distribution in National Amil Zakat Agency at Indragiri Hilir District. Theoretical framework in this research was that the mustahik prosperity could be seen from the effectiveness of productive zakat distribution done by National Amil Zakat Agency at Indragiri Hilir District. This research used qualitative research with qualitative descriptive technique. The population in this research was the head of zakat distribution division in BAZNAS at Indragiri Hilir District, meanwhile the sample used in this research was saturated sampling, where all population become sample. Then, the collected data had been analyzed by using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusion. Based on the result of data analysis in interview with the head of distribution division could be concluded that the program of productive zakat distribution worked effectively, also in monitoring and direct assistance from Zakat Community Development of BASNAZ showed the field factor and mustahik mindset still in low effort. In view of mustahik prosperity, it was not fulfilling well because the capability of society still in make ends meet and doing infaq. Also, they could not to pay zakat or to be muzakki based on the purpose of productive zakat program. The suggestion to National Amil Zakat Agency at Indragiri Hilir District was that they should do promotion, promotion improvement and actively to socialized about zakat productive to society.
