Abstract
Sri Rahayu. 2022. Thesis. Sentence Structure of Riau Malay Dialect of Kampar in Pulau Birandang Village, Kampa District, Kampar Regency. This study examines the sentence structure of Riau Malay dialect of Kampar in Pulau Birandang Village, Kampa District, Kampar Regency. The problem raised in the research is, how is the structure of the single sentence contained in the Riau Malay dialect of Kampar in Pulau Birandang Village, Kampa District, Kampar Regency. The purpose of this study was to find out, to find, to describe, to interpret, and to conclude the structure of a single sentence in Riau Malay, Pulau Birandang Village, Kampa District, Kampar Regency. The theory that the author uses in this study is the theory of Alwi, et al. (2003). The method that the author uses in this research is descriptive method. The results obtained in the single sentence structure of Riau Malay dialect of Kampar in Pulau Birandang Village, Kampa District, Kampar Regency, namely there are 80 single sentences consisting of: 1) A single sentence with an adjective predicate with a PS pattern, the sentence kociok Sungai tu consists of the word kociok as a predicate ( P) and the word river as the subject (S), a sentence whose predicate is an adjective, namely the word kociok. 2) A single sentence with nominal predicate with PS pattern, the sentence jomu clothes den consists of the phrase jomu clothes as the predicate (P) and the word den as the subject (S), sentences whose predicate is in the form of a noun, namely the word clothes. 3) A single sentence with a numeral predicate with a PS pattern, a sentence that has a seven word badiadiok as a predicate (P) and a word den as a subject (S), a sentence whose predicate is a number word, namely the word tuao.
