Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the contribution of leg muscle strength and eye and foot coordination to football shooting results for Prada FC players in Desa Perawang Barat Kecamatan Tualang Kabupaten Siak. The type of this research is multiple correlation. The population and sample in this study were players from the Prada FC club in West Desa Perawang Barat Kecamatan Tualang Kabupaten Siak, which amounted to 25 people. The research instrument used was a leg muscle strength test, a test for eye and foot coordination and a soccer shooting test. The data analysis technique used is the multiple correlation value test. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that 1) There is a contribution of leg muscle strength to the results of shooting football with a value of rcount = 0.512 > rtable = 0.396 with a KD value = 26, 21%, 2) There is a contribution of eye and foot coordination to the soccer shooting with a value of rcount = 0.530 > rtable = 0.396 with a KD value = 28.09%, 3) There is a contribution of strength leg muscles and eye and foot coordination on the results of football shooting on the players of the Prada FC club, Desa Perawang Barat Kecamatan Tualang Kabupaten Siak with a value of rcount = 0.706 > rtable = 0.396 with a KD value of 49.84%.
