Abstract
Currently, the use of media as a component of learning has not been fully used and developed by current needs, characteristics, and conditions. In addition, during the learning process, the teacher only refers to students' textbooks. This study aims to develop Powerpoint learning media for learning 3,4 and 5 on theme 6 “Heat and its Transfer” Subtheme 1 “Temperature and Heat” for fifth-grade elementary school students. the type of research is R&D with a 4D development model with the stages of development research namely Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination. However, this research is limited to product validation tests carried out at the product development stage. The subjects of this study were 6 experts, consisting of 2 material experts, 2 linguists, and 2 design experts as well as fifth-grade elementary school students. Data collection methods used are interviews and validation sheets. The analysis carried out is a qualitative and quantitative analysis of interview data and validation sheets. The results of the study stated that the Powerpoint learning media was worth seeing from the material, language, and design aspects with an average score of 93.7% with a very valid category. So, Powerpoint learning media is feasible to use.
