Abstract

Based an data Information System fo, fram the Protection of Women end- Children Symphony), it was recarded that 5,463 children in Indanesia had experienced violence throughout 2020 and in 2021" there was an almost two-fold increase, namely, there were 70,832 cases af vlslrnru e-gainst chi!dren, and around 59.70 percent af the vialence vras sexuz! ,liolence the Online against children. ?ne of the protective measures taken by the Gavernment to realize the welfare of children ,f their rights without discrimtnatory treatment, namely the issusnce of Law Number 35 of ZAH rs to pnsvide guarantees for the fulfillment cancerning Amendments to Law Number 23 of 20A2 concerning Child Protection. Phvsical an"d sey-ua! vialence ore imnortanf i.ssues to be cliscu.s-sed "' " J a'- _- "' One of the efJbns made by the Rokan Hilir Regency Government ta handle child coses thst accurred is the Rokan Hilir Regency Regianal Regulation Number 1A of 2019 concerning the Implementation of Child Protectton. This study uses qualitative methods with the t-ype of research included in field the research design using descriptive onalltsis methods. The results of the stud,v found that the lmplementation of Child Protection in Rakan Hilir Regency was influenced by 6 {six) {PPA resesrch, with variables, namely: 7) Standards and palicy targets, 2) Resources, 3) Characteristics of implementing arganizations, 4) Communication between organizations and strengthening activities, 5 qttitude of the implementers, 6) Economic, social and political conditions. Further research findings reveal that these 6 {six} ) vqriables have nat been implemented optimally related to the implementatian af child protection in Rokan Hilir Regency.
