Abstract
Policies are regulations made by the government with a specific purpose, Discipline is obedient and obedient to the rules, because the purpose of this study is to assess the discipline of civil servants at the Bandar Petalangan District Office and disciplinary barriers at the Bandar Petalangan Regency Governor's Office. The type of research used by the author is qualitative. Data collection techniques were obtained through primary and secondary data with data collection carried out by interviews, observations, and documentation with informants. This study uses data analysis, namely by taking a qualitative approach, namely to uncover and resolve problems so that they can be understood and understood as a whole from the research, so that a clear picture can be obtained. Based on the results of the research and discussion that have been described previously, it can be concluded that the discipline shown by employees in carrying out their duties and functions at the Bandar Petalangan District Office has not shown compliance with existing regulations. Barriers to civil servant discipline at the Bandar Petalangan Office are due to weak leadership in enforcing regulations and lack of communication between superiors and subordinates, limited supporting infrastructure and the presence of honorary staff who serve as places for delegating work, corrective actions from superiors who are still weak, and awareness of civil servants as state servants. which is still low.
