Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of leg muscle explosive power and eye and foot coordination to the shooting ability of Futsal players at SMPN 1 Salo. The type of this research is multiple correlation. The population and sample in this study were Futsal players at SMPN 1 Salo, totaling 15 people. The research instrument used was a leg muscle explosive power test with a standing broadjump, a test for eye and foot coordination and a futsal shooting ability test. The data analysis technique used is the multiple correlation value test. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that 1) There is a contribution of leg muscle explosive power to the futsal shooting ability of Futsal players at SMPN 1 Salo with a value of rcount = 0.694 > rtable = 0.514 with a KD value = 48.16%, 2) There is a contribution of eye and foot coordination to the futsal shooting ability of Futsal players at SMPN 1 Salo with a value of rcount = 0.608 > rtable = 0.514 with a KD value = 36.97%, 3) There is a contribution of leg muscle explosive power and eye and foot coordination to shooting ability futsal players at SMPN 1 Salo with rcount = 0.742 > rtable = 0.514 with KD = 55.06%.
