Abstract

ABSTRACT Tarno Kurnia (174110200) The effect of Yaramila 15:09:20 NPK fertilizer and intervals of spraying pesticides from soursop leaves on the growth and production of mustard caisim (Barissca juncae L), under the guidance of Dr. Herman. SP., M.Sc as supervisor. This research has been carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution No. 113, Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. This research was carried out for 3 months starting from January to March 2021. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving NPK Yaramila fertilizer at 15:09:20 and the interval of spraying pesticides on soursop leaf vegetable on caisim mustard plants by interaction ability and the effect of each. This study used a factorial completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor was the dose of NPK Yaramila 15:09:20 (0, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 grams/plant) and time interval (3, 6, 9, 12 days/factor). So that obtained 16 treatment combinations with three replications which eventually became 48 plots. In each plot there were 9 plants with 3 plants as samples which were determined randomly. Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, age of harvest, wet weight of the sample, economic weight of the sample, the percentage of attack and the types of pests that attacked. The data from the observations of each treatment were statistically analyzed and continued with the further test of Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results of this study concluded that the effect of NPK Yaramila 15:09:20 fertilizer and the interval of spraying vegetable pesticides on soursop had a significant effect on the observed parameters. The best treatment for caisim mustard plants was a combination of application of NPK Yaramila fertilizer at 15:09:20 3 grams/plant (N3) and an interval of spraying pesticides on soursop leaf vegetable 12 days (W3).
