Abstract

This study was to determine the interaction effect and the main effect of giving chicken egg shell powder and Padang rice restaurant waste on caisim mustard plants. This research was conducted at the Green House of UIRA Fram Agro, Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, Jalan Tropong, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency. This research was carried out for 2 months starting from September - October 2021. The purpose of the study was to determine the interaction effect and the main effect of giving chicken egg shell powder and Padang rice restaurant waste. This study used a factorial Completely Randomized Design consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is chicken egg shell powder (C) with 4 levels, namely 0, 120, 240 and 360 g/plot and the second factor is rice field restaurant waste (N) with 4 levels, namely 0.250, 500 and 750 ml/l water so that there are 16 treatment combinations in which each treatment combination was repeated 3 times to obtain 48 experimental units. Parameters observed were net assimilation rate, relative growth rate, economic weight, dry weight and root volume. The data obtained were analyzed statistically and continued with the BNJ test at a level of 5%. The results showed that the interaction effect of chicken egg shell powder and Nasi Padang restaurant waste was significant on the parameters of economic weight, dry weight and root volume. The best treatment was chicken egg shell powder 360 g/plot and Nasi Padang restaurant waste 500 ml/l water. The main effect of real chicken egg shell powder on all observation parameters. The best treatment of chicken egg shell powder 360 g/plot. The main effect of Nasi Padang Restaurant Waste is significant on all observation parameters. The best treatment for Nasi Padang Restaurant Waste 500 ml/l water .
