Abstract

The purpose of this development research is to produce a product in the form of mathematics learning media on polyhedron based on macromedia flash professional 8. The type of research used is the Plomp development model which has been modified into 4 stages, namely the initial investigation phase, the design phase, and the realization phase. construction, and evaluation and revision phases. Instruments and data collection techniques used a questionnaire in the form of a validation sheet designed using a 4-level Likert scale. Validation was carried out on four validators, namely two mathematics lecturers at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Islamic University of Riau and two mathematics teachers. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive analysis technique by describing the results of the analysis of the data from the validation results. The results obtained in this study are the results of the validation of learning media with an overall average of 85.75% with very valid criteria or can be used without revision. Therefore, the conclusion of this study is to produce a product in the form of a macromedia flash professional 8-based mathematics learning media that has been tested for validity.
