Abstract
This study aims to produce a mathematics learning tools by using cooperative Think Pair Share (TPS) type on rectangular material of the seventh grade. Learning tools in the form of a learning Lesson Plan (LP) and Student Worksheets (SW). This study uses R & D method with the following steps: potential and problem, data collection, product design, design validity, design revision, and final product. The data collection technique was used validation from two Lectures Mathematic faculty and two Teachers Mathematic at SMP Negeri 21 Pekanbaru. The data analysis technique is validation data analysis. And the results of this research, obtained from the validation result LP of 85,77% with of very valid criteria and the validation results SW of 81,25% with of very valid criteria. The results of this research concluded development of this research resulted that the learning tools of mathematics by using cooperative Think Pair Share (TPS) type on rectangular material of the seventh grade has a tested validity.
