Abstract

In this day and age, after the presence of social media, there are many marketing techniques that can be used. One of the new marketing techniques is the endorsement technique. Humans are influential in increasing business activities, especially online businesses, which require a marketing strategy by means of promotion through online media. Promotions are usually carried out by advertising parties by means of endorsement activities. The existence of these activities creates an agreement between one party and another. An agreement is an agreement that is recognized by law and is most important in the business world, and forms the basis of electronic business activities. Based on the above background, the author is interested in conducting research on these matters by taking over the problems that occur in defaults by online business owner endorsers through Instagram? settlement of default by endorsers against online business owners via Instagram? The research method used in this study is sociological law by means of a descriptive survey with data collection tools, namely interviews. The reason the author took this research method was in order to assess the effectiveness of the regulations in Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions with practices in society. The results of this study indicate that there is a default between Selebgram Gina Meidina Putri and online business owner Ananda Zein with an account as @myrubylicious, Selebgram Fitriani Handayani with online business owner Aulia Azmie with an account as @maskermurah and Selebgram Cyntia Valerina with online business owner Anggita with an account as @shoppekanbaru because this is not in accordance with what was promised by the previous celebgram parties. The endorser's action is certainly detrimental to the online shop that incurs costs and products as capital in selling. And the settlement of default by the endorser against the online business owner through Instagram can only admonish and remind the endorser via WhatsApp chat and Instagram.
