Abstract

Analysis of Slum Levels in Slum Areas in Sukaramai Village, Pekanbaru City District (mutiaafrianti09@gmail.com) MUTIA AFRIANTI 153410334 ABSTRACT Sukaramai Village is on the outskirts of the central city of Pekanbaru which is crossed by the Sago River. Areas that are crossed by rivers occupy land boundaries that buildings should not be allowed to erect. Based on the Pekanbaru Mayor Decree Number 878 of 2017 concerning Amendments to the Decision of the Mayor of Pekanbaru Number 151 of 2016 concerning Determination of Housing Location and Slum Settlements Sukaramai Sub-district is one of the nine sub-districts in Pekanbaru City which are designated in slum areas with an area of 6.60 Ha. This study aims to analyze the level of slums identified from the socio-economic characteristics of the population, the condition of infrastructure and the physical condition of residential buildings. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with a weighting or scoring method based on variables and indicators established by Minister of Public Works Regulation No.2 Year 2016. Slum settlements in Sukaramai Village are categorized in light slum areas, there are still many infrastructure conditions. have not met the technical requirements and physical building conditions, namely permanent, non-permanent and semi-permanent.
