Abstract

Training This study aims to determine the level of effectiveness of the job training program by the Department of Manpower and Transmigration of Riau Province (Case Study of the Unit Pelaksana Teknis Latihan Kerja (UPT-LK) Region I Riau Province. The indicators of this research are understanding of the program, right on target, right time, achievement of goals, and real changes.The type of research located in the Unit Pelaksana Teknis Latihan Kerja Region I Riau Province is a descriptive survey, which prioritizes a list of questionnaires as a data collection tool and the data collected with this tool is then used as the main raw material for analyzing conditions empirical and objectivity of the existence of research objectives at the location under study. While the method used is quantitative. The sampling technique used in determining individual samples is the saturated sampling technique for the head of the Unit Pelaksana Teknis Latihan Kerja, Riau Province and simple random sampling technique for p along with training. The types and techniques of data collection used in this study consisted of primary data collected using questionnaires and interviews and secondary data collected using observation techniques. Based on this analytical technique, the researchers assessed and concluded that the effectiveness of the job training program by the Department of Manpower and Transmigration of Riau Province (Case Study of the Unit Pelaksana Teknis Latihan Kerja (UPT-LK) Region I Riau Province was in the assessment interval of Fairly Effective with a percentage of 63%. Recommendations What needs to be considered, especially with regard to the effectiveness of the program on the implementation of job training, should be able to realize more effective job training in the Unit Pelaksana Teknis Latihan Kerja (UPT-LK) Region I Riau Province considering that the effectiveness rate is still at a fairly low percentage.
